Wanna Feel Like a Failure?

At age 35:All in all, I'd say I'm doing okay. ;)

Russian ambassador Aleksandr Borosovich Kurakin introduced the practice of serving meals in courses.
Frederic William Herschel, an English astronomer, invented the contact lens.
American sprinter Evelyn Ashford won her final Olympic gold medal at age 35, old for a sprinter.
Amedeo Avogadro developed Avogadro's hypothesis.
Law School professor Anita Hill charged that Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas made indecent remarks to her.
Margie Profet proposed a new theory of menstruation which claims that menstruation protects against infection and won a MacArthur Foundation "genius" grant.
Astronaut Buzz Aldrin achieved his life's ambition at age 35 and wondered, what do you do after that?

Well, I did invent the all orange meal, and I was like 31 when I did that. What other contribution can I really give to the world ;-)

I'm not going to look for fear it will throw me back into a funk. I feel like I wasted so much time already taking most of my 20s figuring out that I should've gone with my gut instinct at 18.

Hey - what fun!! I went to the site and played around with different ages. THERE'S STILL HOPE FOR ME!! (thank God) heeee.
Weird - I got all these awards and stuff in High School and college -- you know the junk -- like National Honor Society, Atlanta Journal Cup, Valedictorian, Star Student (and other junk in High School); then was one of 5 nominees for Lady of The Bracelet (highest honor awarded to a woman) at Vanderbilt my senior year.
So what did I do with any of that? Became an ACTOR!!! EEEEK!!
Two things I've done that are not "earth-shattering" to anyone but those involved.
1. On TWO different occasions was the individual who encouraged a guy who was scared to ask out the gal they had a crush on -- in BOTH cases the couple ended up married and still are!!
2. Helped someone else discover and reach their dream.
But...otherwise...I got a LOT of work to do. Whew!

And I do love that they include some fun stuff so that you can really play with it all. ;)
Courtney!! YES--your all-orange meal was such a great invention it is STILL in my email's random signature file! Brilliant stuff!
