Wheezing?
When the TiVo makes a sound...
like it's wheezing
...and you can hear it over the show you're watching, that's not good, right?
Fun surprizes in the mail this week: Sahale Snacks from Kirstin (you are TOO cute!!) and lovely books from Pamela's sister plus a DVD we'll watch before long. Yay! Mail is fun! Even if it is slow. Thanks, lovely ladies! Y'all rock!
Note: I'll be MIA for a few weeks now (will try to post here and there) as I begin the 14-Day Screenplay Challenge (I put a little progress bar on the bottom left of this page--I'll try to keep it updated) and complete casting on two SAG short films. And... Quinn is on the way SOON. Yay! Y'all be good. Post comments. XXOO

Great stuff Bonnie--
I've been reading you for a long time...on WILDOGRE.
Actor/writer from vancouver---I've been toying with the idea of joining the 14 day write-a-thon...but, I'm still deciding (24hours to go)...
It's not that I can't do it- it's actual the fact that as of May 1st (deadline) I had to write 3 full features in under 7 weeks- 1 for a contest and two on assignment...I'm feeling kinda burned out. I know the story I'm writing next...but thought I'd outline for a few months...but now I'm getting jealous of everyone entering. Ha.
Good stuff- Keep it updated...and good luck. I'll be checking in to see how you do.

They got there in one piece? Yeah........
Was it easy to figure out, which book belongs to who? Enjoy sweeties.....
Recipe for success: Study while others are sleeping;
work while others are loafing; prepare while others
are playing; and dream while others are wishing.

Wow, James! That's a LOT of writing! I'm impressed. I wish I were starting with a better outline and PLAN, but since I only learned about the challenge last week, I'm sort of just jumping in to see how it feels to be actively working on a screenplay with a timeline. *fingers crossed* that I come through it all okay. ;) I appreciate the encouragement! Lemmeknow if you decide to do the challenge too.
Pamela--yes, it was totally obvious which book went to whom. Hee! You're so clever! Again, THANK YOU. So thoughtful, as always. XXOO

With all of the focused, creative energy swirling around here at once, you KNOW this is going to be a great time to get BUSY!

i have always taken issue with that quote for two reasons. okay three reasons.
1) "dreaming" and "wishing" are too close in meaning to have that phrase make any sense. like, william a. ward, you should have quit while you were ahead.
2) i'm hella lazy but i've always pretty much gotten away with it and still think my chances of success are high without me turning into a type-A personality, which will never, ever happen. i sleep and loaf and play. a lot.
3) it's omarosa's favorite quote.
and oh my god. it starts in five hours. can i really do this, bon!?

grrr...I got to 18 pages and stupid final draft crashed and I lost 3.
auto-save promises it's saving every five, but five in final draft lingo means "every thirty to forty-five minutes"...
then blogger would not upload my picture showing progress...
i'm pissed off.
but 14 1/2 pages into my screenplay. not 18. (around one I lost one page, too. why does final draft suck so much???)
good night.
