Compare and Contrast
Deep thoughts while I'm doing the "brain work" behind this week's column...
This isn't news. Everyone says Bruce Vilanch resembles a Fraggle. But check this out.
Separated at birth, no? (That's Sally Struthers, BTW.)
Okay, and I've realized that Ant and Mario Cantone are totally the same guy.
(Seriously. Listen to them with your eyes closed.)
But far more disturbing, in my search for these images was this:
These photos were taken in 2004 and 2006. STEP AWAY FROM THE BOTOX, ANT. Wow.
*shudder*

Maybe it's just me, but I think a woman should rethink her hairdo after she reaches a certain age. Seriously, IMO, long hair on an older woman just makes her look, well, like an old lady trying to hang on to her youth. Unsuccessfully, I might add.

Nooooooo!!!!
Ant was so cute and funny. Now he's starting to look like David Gest.

They TOTALLY talk alike - you are so right. Damn, the older photo shows so much character in his face and the new one looks like a "character vampire" visited him in the night. WHY do ACTORS who are supposed to have EXPRESSIVE faces DO that to themselves? It really should enter the list of mental illnesses and addictions.

Great points, Nini. (Oh, and CoCo, that link... *shudder*.) Watching the Emmys was a great reminder of how much Botox is being pumped into people out here on a daily basis. It's just WRONG.
Soon, only actors who CAN show emotion will be considered... since everyone else just looks plastic.
Oh, and Aleta, I would agree except for the fact that I LOVE my long hair... AND two of my favorite senior citizens have gorgeous long hair (and I've cast them both a couple of times) and I think it's just hot as hell!
So, I guess it just depends?
