So Far Today

Joe came to his senses and begged his boss for his job back. They might let him keep it. Haven’t heard the verdict.
Meanwhile, I have a chance to get a job as an assistant editor somewhere for the university (not the press) for a reasonable salary (the giveaway it’s not at the press) and benefits, starting July 1, so things are looking up. Thanks, Stephanie, for the resume help. It’s hard to put together a resume for a job description you don’t know.
Meanwhile meanwhile, I have to pack and finish editing jobs and say goodbye to lots of people and buy an interview outfit and get gone.

    Please make sure Joe promises to forward the book to you, if it makes it to your TX home after you’ve headed east. Dangit… I really thought I had more time (and I may just have mailed it “on time” to get it to you anyway), but if it isn’t with you when you leave, please get me an Athens address and I’ll send another (and, ’til it arrives, you can read along with Chipper). Yeah, like you need more to read. ;)

    Hey Courtney,
    I came across your page when I was doing a Google search for Jessica Ewen, and her name popped up in one of your postings. I knew she was moving and I’d like to track her down, but I only have her Shrewsbury address. Do you happen to know if she’s moved to Athens yet? (Seems like that’s the thing to do these days.)
