Sick Prank

So a coworker called in sick. Then later he called in to say he was coming in to the office to pick up some work to take home. So caring coworkers pranked his door:

When asked if he had the flu, he responded, “I knew I shouldn’t have eaten those dead birds I found on the side of the road.” I work with fun people.
So, the color I chose for the bookshelves was . . . drumroll, please . . . pale butter yellow. It’ll tie into the kitchen. AND, I think I’ll paint the walls behind it and in the rest of the office a pale minty green. Then I’ll paint my bedroom a hyacinth blue. Yum. Can’t wait!
Oh, and in the small world of spynotebookdom, it turns out my coworker Alison, in the normal course of a work day, met a nice professional young man who works/runs a bookstore or some such. Later, via my blog, via Chip’s blog, she discovered his blog, and learned that he is this super cool guy with tattoos and wild art, and so contrary to who she thought she met at the bookstore. Sir Roderick Fancybottom, you’ve been found out!

Okay, so I’m a HUGE fan of the pale butter and I love that that wasn’t even really a choice offered up to your voters. I especially love it if it’s a wee bit rancid. That’s some PURDY yellow!
    Good girl!
