More July Fourth

Here are a few more pictures from Independence Day, Savannah style. There are actually quite a few pictures of me, for a change, thanks to John and Sarah.
Here we go tubing. To me, tubing has always meant sitting in an innertube floating slowly down a river with a cooler tied to rope trailing behind. Down here it means being dragged on a tube behind a boat–very very fast.

Reese on a noodle in the pool eating ooey gooey blueberry goodness. What could be better?

As it started to get all crepuscular and iambic, the musical instruments came out. Austin played his guitar, and Clay joined in for a few songs on his ukulele.

Austin plays many songs, including an acoustic version of a Snoop Dog rap, some Jimmy Buffet for Reese, some John Prine for Cindy and Ronnie, and more . . .

Reese and I enjoy singing along.

It’s so good we have to get up and dance.
