For the past 5 years, the Spynotebook Tech Club has made it a tradition to gather for brunch and discuss our resolutions for the next year. (We try to remember our resolutions from the previous year, bragging about the ones we KNOW we accomplished and quietly feign memory loss at the ones we can’t remember. Sometimes we just plain forgot them.)

This year, we decided we’re going to have to work together on reaching our resolutions for the New Year. Sometimes it will involve team work, but in other cases if one person does it, it counts for everybody. GO TEAM!

Here are our resolutions for 2012: Year of Collaboration!

1. Virtual team walk across country – everybody logs their miles to see how far we make it across the country
2. Buy shrimp, cook shrimp. eat shrimp – help each other learn how to buy, prepare, and cook fresh shrimp
3. Perfect cooking bacon – help each other learn to cook the perfect strip of crispy bacon without burning it
4. Book report club – everybody reads a book and reports back (Reading Rainbow style)
5. Run relay race – really, it’s more fun to share the joy of a half marathon and continue your vacation fun afterwards!
6. Mardi Gras party – get your masks, beads, jambalaya, gumbo & king cake ready!
7. Girls vs Boy blog – Check this one off the list! You’re reading it! (This blog will include competitions)
8. Soup swap – time to get on this before it gets too warm for soup
