i got in my car and the thermometer read 85 degrees. it was 8 o’clock in the morning. help?

i finally finished reading the new harry potter book! huzzah!
it took me an unusually long time to finish reading it partly because of my addiction to daily footage of big brother uk (which is SO much better than the american version), but also because i would fall asleep reading it. example a:

my falling asleep on the job had very little to do with the quality of the book, but rather that i could not figure out a way to extend the number of hours in each day (unlike miss hermione granger in book 3).
so anyway, i was bound and determined to finish the darn thing before meeting up with team “knee deep in the hooplah” at trivia this week, and i almost made it. i was one chapter and the epilogue short of finishing on time. i was hardcore, though, and i managed to carry on minor conversations and answer the first few questions with the team all while finishing up the book. (special score: our favorite waitress just got a new hp tattoo — she got the quote from dumbledore’s grave tattooed low around her waist. 10 points for gryffindor!)
now i’m sort of at a loss as to which book to read next… until then, i s’pose i’ll live the internet dream and keep on clickity-clickin’.
