chip & i are trying to clean house and sell a bunch of our “stuff” that we don’t need any more. if you’d like to join in, bring your stuff on over to chip’s house on friday or early saturday. better yet, come by and buy some of it!

A NEW TV! i’m not convinced the glare isn’t burning holes through our retinas, but we are “in lust” with it. (if only we could get directv! grrr…) chip also picked up a handy dandy dvd player that takes regular dvds and makes them look mo’ better. it was a cheaper solution than making the leap to blu ray or hd dvds — plus it makes our existing dvd collection look awesome on the new tv.
much like the rest of the world, i am peeved with apple and their iphone. i updated the iphone firmware several weeks ago, but i didn’t update itunes. i lost the ability to add, remove, and assign my own *FREE* ringtones which made me sad, but i was thrilled that i didn’t lose the ringtones already assigned to people
well, all that love is gone. apple, you are teh suck (as those crazy kids on the internets say).
somehow apple snuck in a firmware update without me realizing i was being updated, and i lost ALL of my ringtones. ALL OF THEM. the sad part is they still show up as being listed for my contacts, but they no longer play when people call me. what a tease.
i do not want to listen to your “marimba” or your “car horn.” take your hippie “strum” ringtone and shove it. i don’t want none of that mess, ya hear?! i want to know that when i hear delbert mcclinton singing squeeze me in that my parents are calling. alas, no more gorillaz dare for the strombot. what better describes lyricalnights than a flogging molly song?
*sigh*
in more exciting news, the strombot has been granted blogging access on the spynotebook. with great power comes great responsibility, oh strombotic one. check out her pretty pink trees on strombot 2.0. scrappy = old hotness; strombot = new shiny. blog away new shiny!
