be nice to your network admin

tech support people inevitably get the brunt of frustration unloaded by many disgruntled customers (whether it has anything to do with tech support or not). i have to say, though, i have always said it is incredibly important to be nice to two people in your workplace: 1) the person who signs your check and, 2) the network administrator. these are the two people who can SERIOUSLY mess your life up. don’t believe me? ask the mayor of san francisco.

now would be a good time to remind your network admin how much you appreciate his or her work.

testing from iPhone

I installed iMT plugin on Spynotebook, so it works a little better from the iPhone. Am working with Chip to see if we can get OpenID working so you can use the BlogIT (blogit.typepad.com) to post to multiple platforms (twitter, facebook, friendfeed, etc.). In the meantime, login to Spynotebook on your iPhone and give the mobile version a go.

[update: you can get around the OpenID thing by logging into BlogIT using a yahoo account. so if you have a flickr account, you can login that way and setup your other platform accounts. i have managed to login, but it's sloooow and have yet to successfully setup movabletype let alone friendfeed or twitter.]
