i’m not sure how i missed this, but the blog my cousin kevin helped to start and regularly contributes articles for was featured on bon appetit’s blog envy section this week! kevin and his friend, claire, started up food junta after they finished college. it’s pretty entertaining, and they definitely have some great tips, tricks, and recipes for the “young, broke, and hungry” (which certainly includes most of us).

the featured recipe was claire’s tempura fritto misto with lemon aioli and japanese dipping sauce. looks tasty, eh?

so go take a peek at the bon appetit site and definitely add food junta to your blogroll.

i’m in the mood to redesign the spynotebook homepage. chip and i have talked about it off and on for probably t-minus 6 months after we redesigned it the last time. so, i guess that means it’s about due. (i think it was last redesigned before chip & i even started dating…)  maybe a new year’s debut? what d’ya think?

i’m thinking of a theme…. poodles and dice…
