Y'know what?

Screw it.

I'm so over trying that I'm just ready to declare, "I give the fuck up!"

This fixing a hole business is hard. It's hard. It's hard.

And the fact that the world doesn't back the fuck off while I'm doing some really important healing stuff just makes me mad.

And that's a part of the "hole" problem in the first place.

God, I love irony!

If you are like Elvis--i.e., you have left the building)--why don't you make like Elvis and actually *leave* the building? At least for a day.

Here's is where I find my perspective again when I'm in the hole place and can't do a week away:

If the sea view doesn't blow it outta you, the sea breeze will. Seriously. It's so loud, it's quiet.

Geeeez...I take a month off to catch up on schoolwork and I come back to a disaster! Where are those interns? Why aren't they rubbing your shoulders and kissing your butt like good little interns? And they should be crawling all over the floor while you sit on the sofa, Mimosa in hand, barking orders!

Good lord, woman! Learn to delegate! Do you need me to come show you how? I practiced on my kids...I've gotten pretty good at it, too.

Seriously, I am back in stride. If you need me, you know how to reach me.

Don't give up! You know what you need to do... just tell the world to fuck off and you take care of what you need to take care of. Love you!
