So, I invited some of you to join mediachest.com (if I didn’t, it’s just because I haven’t gotten around to it yet, but you should check it out HERE<\/a> and then request chipw as your friend). It’s a website that I saw on BoingBoing. Basically, we enter all the crap we own, and then it let’s you search your friends’ stuff so you can borrow it. Looked neat, I signed up.<\/p>\n So, we are at Wild Wing last night celebrating Andy’s birthday (me, Jocelyn, Joe, Eric, Liz, Murphy, Clayton, Leaven, Andy, Doug) and Jocelyn sees some people that she knows at the next table. A minute later she waves for me to come over and introduces me to her friend Ned. He tells me I signed up for his website and it turns out that he actually coded and runs mediachest. Kinda crazy.<\/p>\n I had no idea that it was so local.
