So, yeah, Lori and Nick are in the paper<\/a>. I know it is tradition and all that but it seems very bizarre this whole thing where a woman is referred to as Mrs. Husband’s Name. At no point in the article is my Mom’s actual name, Susan, mentioned. She is always Mrs. Keith and Kay is Mrs. Mark. I, of course, am thinking of this from a search term point of view as much as anything else. Just seems like in this day and age we would kind of be over this. If my future wife wants to be Mrs. Chip, more power to her, but I’m going to suggest she just use Shannen Doherty Woods.<\/p>\n

Anyhoo. Been having a big :jocelyn: weekend so far. I’ll skip Friday because I already blogged that. Saturday, we walked downtown and tried out the new Walker’s Pub for a couple of chai freezes. I highly recommend the little courtyard in the back where the Pavillion was for you wicked old school Athenians. After reading magazines there for a while, we went to Achim’s K-Bob and then Jackson Street Books and then walked back to Jocelyn’s. I dropped her off at the Totally Sketchy Liquor Store where her brother works and I came home for a couple of hours.
