Which is good, because I feel that you people don’t actually know how quirky I am. In the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged and list their names.

1. My Fear of Velvet and V.R.I. (Velvet Related Items).
I hate it. I hate touching it. I hate looking at it. I hate girls who wear it and then want to come and give me a hug (Dama!) knowing that I hate it. I hate my couch but I have come to terms with it (but will give it to you in a second, Jocelyn). I hate really soft cotton because it feels like velvet sometimes. I hate it. Thinking about it right now makes me rub my thumb and fingers together trying to get the feel of phantom velvet off of them. I am getting better. I also hate courdory and velour and certain types of paper napkins (my sister hates newsprint).

2. Equality in Body Symmetry
What happens to the right side needs to happen to the left side. If I stub my right toe, there is a very good chance that I am just going to go ahead and kick something with my left foot. If someone puches me in the left arm, I might go ahead and get them to hit the right one also. Velvet on my right hand sadly and painfully necessitates velvet on the left.

3. Fidgetty yet Narcoleptic with a Smidge of Crazy
So, I wasn’t going to put fidgetty on here but I was told to. I touch my face a lot. And I don’t sit still. I used to tug on my clothes in some weird Picard Manuever kind of way but I do that less. I rarely sit in chairs straight but usually at an angle and I shift a lot. But then, at other times, I am out like a light. It is a RARE movie that I will make it through without falling asleep. Coffee doesn’t seem to help. Moving around does a little but so you think the fidgetting would counteract the narcolepsy but it doesn’t. And then there is “the look” that I get that I haven’t had in years but when I get it, watch out. It goes past fidgetty into something else entirely. I almost was there the other day when I danced with Stephanie’s Mom before a department meeting. I got better. Caffeine contributes to these problems.

4. Garment Related Oral Fixation
Lots of my clothes have holes in them. If you notice me wearing an older t-shirt, check the neckline and bottom hem area for holes. This is from me biting them when I am working on something intently and get all focusy. Some of you will remember my old Mot “Always Wear Your Batsuit At Night” shirt. I’m pretty sure the entire neck was gone from that one before it was all over.

5. Two Shift Sleeping
Void of all external forces, I will naturally go to sleep between 7:00 and 9:00 PM. I will sleep for around 3 or 4 hours. I will then get up between 11:00 PM and 2:00 AM. This is when I get the bulk of my personal computing projects done. This is when I watch my recorded television. I will then go back to sleep anywhere from 4:00 AM to 5:30 AM and sleep for a few more hours. When I have work, this is an issue and I force myself to go back to sleep at least by 5:30 and set an alarm for 7:30. I am trying very hard to stay up until 11:00 but I metioned that whole narcolepsy thing earlier. This is a problem. I rarely sleep more than 5 hours at a time. And forget about it if someone is sleeping in close proximity to me. Apparently, I have no problem sleeping in a theater of 300 people but put one person next to me and I am up all night.

I feel better now.

Now, my good friend Scrappy says I need to put on here that I had a barn built with an air conditioner and dehumidifier just to store comic books. That’s not quirky, that’s called common sense!

Bonnie has already done this so how about the other spynotebookers represent: Courtney, Jocelyn, Susan, Hannah, Stephanie give it a shot.

Sarah tagged me for this.
