The Continuing Education catalog lists a new class I think we Spynotebookers should all take: Spy Camp for Adults. It’s taught by Eddie Suttles, who used to (still does?) work at Barnes and Noble. It’s Wednesdays from March 29 to April 26 from 6-8 pm (5 classes/10hours) for $109, which includes the cost of the course book: Internation Spy Museum Handbook of Practical Spying.
Here’s the course description:
Learn all about the real world of espionage in this exciting and informative course. You’ll hear firsthand accounts from guest speakers who have worked in real-life intelligence agencies, and you’ll explore the myths and legends of spying presented in popular culture. Investigate the roles of problem-solving, critical-thinking skills, and technology in this fascinating line of work, while finding out about current events and political science.
Chip says he’ll be there, and so will I. Who else is in?
So. Jealous. Why, why did you move to Athens right after I left? And the thought of Eddie teaching that class is pretty amusing. He’s too nice to be a spy!
