Merry Christmas

I am curled up in the most impossibly soft and cozy robe ever imagined. Listening to all my new music: Grease, Ray Charles, Parliament, and Laryn Hill. Not too shabby.
Thanks for the crush suggestions. The best I’ve been able to come up with so far is Charlie O’Brien, who was a catcher for the Braves years ago. He seems to me a redneck teddybear with gravitas. Although I can see having a crush on Audrey Hepburn. I watched Breakfast at Tiffany’s last night.
I saw Joe today and he seems to be doing really well. He was Joe again. I am so glad for him, and for the world, because he really is a sweet soul. We exchanged gifts and he saw my house and we laughed about old jokes. Mom opened a card from him afterwards and started crying about the tragedy of it all, mourned for the what could have and should have been. I mourned that for years. I’ve accepted it, but it does till pang. Tomorrow we’ll talk about signing papers.
Hoped to go to the new aquarium in Atlanta with cousins on Wednesday, but tickets are sold out. Do look forward to going sometime. Lots more to do this week, and not sure how to get organized. Need to paint in my house, maybe start moving furniture. I also have to work at the Press some, and I am determined to exercise every day. I may join a gym–it’s too cold to breathe outside when I jog or walk. That Omni one is near my house. Anybody know anything about it, other than there are people who steal knitting out of cars there?
