The Persistence of Passion

Doesn’t that sounds like a good title for a bad romance novel? All those ps and ses, spitting everywhere, like Sylvester the Cat. It came to me when I noticed this little guy growing through new asphalt.

It’s gotten a bit bigger, and I think it’s part of this vine growing nearby, which I think is a Passion flower.

For some reason my links aren’t showing up on the right anymore, so I’m going to paste them here until I can ask Chip to help me figure it out.

It is a great title. There was a time when I was positive that I was going to write a romance novel. I think there may have even been a contest between Charles Pannel, Chip, Susan and myself. I even started developing the characters and plot while travelling in Europe with Susan and Michelle. What has become of me?
