Oh so so much has happened. Well, not really. I am at home now. The replay is showing me some Newsradios and Allison B.is in one of the bear chairs reading a purloined Seventeen magazine. The power was turned back on about 1:45. Just in time for Passions. Thank God! Work was very long. The first wave of laptops have finally arrived. We have been waiting years for this project to really get under way. We also got two cable modems that I can start playing with.
Afterschool was good. I went downtown to Hill Street and met with Tom about southernbooks.com. He has contacted about 20 southern presses and the first 12 are going to be the ones we start off with. I have to create three demo pages by mid next week to show the people what they are getting involved in. Then I met Allison and we grabbed some T-Stand and I coached her how to get the guy of her dreams. Duh, like I was right there! 🙂
I am about to hook up the phone patch and see if I can upload the Traveling Chicas’ vmail.
