Geekend Pt. 3

We left the convention and walked to Inner Harbor. We ate at a random restaurant. Sean and I had crabcakes, Susan oysters, and Kevin fish and chips. Ordered Coke. No pepsi. Yummy. We drove back to DC and evaluated our purchases. Sean made some more zombies and the boys played Heroclix while Susan read her book. She also made us Halloween cookies. Sean won. You can see the videos if you want. Our original plan was going to be going to Haunted Alexandria. This was cancelled back during the sniper days. We couldn’t decide on a movie but we found out there were ghost tours in Old Alexandria.
Our tour guide sort of sucked but it was neat to walk around the old houses. There was a story of the Female Stranger that I want to look into more. Susan and I reaffirmed the fact that we want to go to parapsychology school. After the walk, we decided to eat at a place called Bilbo Baggins. Sean had the Bilbo salad and the rest of us had the Bilbo burgers. Not as Middle Earth as I would have liked. Sean and Susan argued about going to the Bell Witch Cave in Tennessee. He is afraid the ghost will follow them home. I am inclined to agree but I think it would be cool. We took some wrong turns on the way back and so our car ride back took us a little longer. We are all pretty tired.
Sunday morning, Susan and I watched a bit of TV and then she drove me back to BWI.
Uneventful flight home.
Uneventful drive home.
Sunday afternoon, Kate (back from her Unitarian retreat) and I went to see “Punch Drunk Love” and ate Taco Stand.

That’s it.
