Woke up.
Finished the first book in the “Fearless” series.
Re-watched last week’s The Wire. Understood it a lot better the 2nd time.
At lunch time I got a sandwich from Five Points Deli.
During the afternoon I napped and read Breakfast After Noon.
At 4:30, I went to Mom and Keith’s and met up with my sister Lori. Our fam was going to an auction in Winterville. I rode with her out to Whitney’s house and met up with Whitney and her 15-month old Ella. We all went to the auction but only stayed about 30 or 40 minutes. There just wasn’t anything I was really excited about. Lori, Whitney, Ella, and I went to Five Star Day and had dinner.
Kate called me on her way into town. She met us at the restaurant. Kate and I went to Lunch Paper after dinner and waited for Susan Cooley to come down.
I saw Madie outside Lunch Paper and then I saw Ellie Dean of all people inside. She is doing computer graphics and 3D animation in school in Florida. I have her email now so we will need to keep in touch.
After Lunch Paper, we went to the Globe and saw Dane and Julia.
After this, we went to the Grill and had milkshakes and the gals got some fries. Didn’t spy anyone I knew there.
Susan drove me back to my mom’s house to get my car.
Came home. Fell asleep reading McSweeney’s Mammoth Treasury of Thrilling Tales.
