Should I like Mandy Moore less or more (ha ha) because she has covers of the Waterboys and Joe Jackson? I am working on a mixed CD of cover versions of songs I really like. I think it will have Mandy singing “Whole of the Moon” and “Breaking Us In Two”. It will have Tori singing “I don’t like Mondays”. The question is should I actually have three different versions of “More Than This”. Because if I can only put one, do I put the Norah Jones/Charlie Hunger Quartet version or the Bill Murray Karaoke version from “Lost In Translation”? Very tough decisions.
I read a (very) short story last night that was the complete story of a relationship in song titles. If I can find an online version, I will link to it. It was pretty cool.
