I rebuilt the software and apps on my laptop a few months ago. I have not tried to access my comic book database since I restored it and now I can’t get it to load. I have the datafile so I am not worried about losing stuff, I am just annoyed that I can’t get it to load. I would just reinstall the program from disk but I can’t find the disk in my thousands of boxes. So, even though I am close to broke (it’s been a looong time since I got paid on Dec. 19), I am spending $40 to buy a ComicBase upgrade. In a week, when I am eating food in the cabinets left here by Lori, remind me I should have waited until payday to buy the software.
This month, my raise should kick in but I actually have no idea how much of a raise I am getting. Post-Mark is actually going smoothly so far. I am waiting for something to pop up that I have no idea how to handle but Jess and I are doing great so far. Of course, we haven’t started working on a lot of stuff that might cause some problems. I am only planning about 3 days ahead at a time which has made it easier. When I have to start working on next year, it might get more complicated.
I think I am going to work with a few kids to work on a weekly or monthly newscast as one of the projects this spring. I have to set up a Windows Media Server first because NMI has gone through some personnel changes and I think we will need to serve it ourselves.
I had dinner with Susan Cooley at Zim’s last night and then we came back here and looked at pictures and I made her watch old videos of me in high school.

Do you notice that I write more when I have the wireless going and I am watching TV. I do.
