I have kept forgetting all day that tomorrow is a school holiday. That’s good because I need to go grocery shopping and do some laundry before I go back to work. Those were tasks for this afternoon but instead I fell asleep. VERY productive.
Saturday, I went with Hannah and her friend from work Sarah to see “Chasing Liberty”, the new Mandy Moore. I saw a BUNCH of people while waiting for the girls to show up that were seeing “Big Fish” or “Cold Mountain”. I got a disapproving look from EmRo when I told her what I was seeing. But hey, the movie didn’t actually suck and it is currently my Top Film of 2004 (since I have not seen anything else). It’s hopefully uphill from here, baby!
Saturday night, we all three went to Lunch Paper and Cash’s birthday party. I was sitting in the window sofas by myself waiting for drinks and this bulldog came and started playing with me. Her owner came up and told me that I should not let her pretend to bite me because that was bad. Turns out that the owner whose name I didn’t catch (Jessica?) is the girl friend of Wendy’s old friend Jen from back in my Grady Avenue Y2K Days. I really don’t want Lunch Paper to move.
Cash’s party was fun. I didn’t know (and still don’t) who some of the people there were. We ended up all playing Taboo which was a lot of fun for me because I love me some Taboo. We were there until about 2:00 and then I came home and fell asleep.
Sunday, I watched “What A Girl Wants” and then went to Madison and had lunch with Missy, Lori, and my Grandad at the Chop House. I visited with them and my Grandmother until about 3:00. Lori was intrigued by the gospel singers that were at the rehabilitaion center and Missy, Lori and I were very impressed by Grandfather’s proper use of the phrase “bling bling”.
I heard “Hey Ya” on the way down there AND on the way back to Athens. I can’t get away from “Hey Ya” and I am really trying!
