Julie was pretty much responsible for the Silver Age of DC Comics in addition to lots of other things. I heard him speak at a panel last year with Judd Winick and Geoff Johns. They just sat back and listened to him talk like everyone else. I bought his autobiography and was going to try and get it signed at San Diego or Dragon-Con this year.
