I had some weird power outage this morning and something hasn’t been quite right with Harriet since then. She wasn’t on a UPS because it was moved to the other room. Now, all outside internet connections seem to stop. I can SSH in locally, but I can’t get mail, web, blogs, etc. to come up until I restart the networking.
If the server dies, it might be a while before it gets back up. I think I am going to go ahead and set the mail up offsite because I can’t trust my home connection to stay up. I need to see how to go about doing this, actually.
Why can’t things be easy? If things go down, write me at work.
