I’ll just say that this weekend was a bajillion times better than last weekend. That may be a little exaggerated but at least I wasn’t home sick all weekend, I actually left the house MULTIPLE times.
Friday night Susan C. came over and we chatted for a while and then decided to go down to Lunch Paper for a little while. At some point during the evening we decided that we would go on a road trip sometime in the nearish future, probably to New Orleans. Many a roadtrip has been planned within the walls of the Lunch Paper in my life. We figure if just the two of us go, it will be fun. If there is a third person, we will fight because that is what we do.
Saturday, I met Nico out at school and we got our new proxy server up (Lumpkin croaked as some may recall) and running. There are probably still going to be some problems when I go into work later today but I will worry about that then. We got that machine up and I rushed to meet Jocelyn, Hannah, and Hannah’s friends at “13 Going on 30”. Much better in the theater than in Dawn’s car at the Drive-In. Jocelyn and I stuck around and watched “Mean Girls”. When I got home, I just went to sleep.
Sunday, watched some TV, watched “American Splendor” finally and really enjoyed the framework of how they told the story. And, yeah, it’s about comics so I liked it. I washed a bunch of clothes, went out to work because ANOTHER server started having trouble, played on Friendster, and just hung out around the house. Fell asleep early which is why I am up and 3:42 AM blogging all of this.
