Work is kicking my butt just like Cason did in Net Tetris yesterday. We are about to start the renovation of three buildings, finish construction on a big new building, take in over 100 old laptops and give out as many new ones while my servers keep crashing for no good reason. I’m about to start interviewing for Cash’s replacement and my toe hurts.
So, about the Net Tetris. Dude the kids are addicted and they are GOOD. Now, I rarely play games and I never do at work but you all know I have a Tetris addiction and I had been in broken server world for about 6 hours and I had to do something mindless for a few minutes to refresh my brain.
Let’s flashback to a week or two ago after work when I challenged Cason to Net Tetris and beat her probably 9 times in a row before I got bored and quit playing. Well, apparently the chica has been practicing because yesterday she beat me a few times while I wasn’t really paying attention. I realized I was getting demolished so I started actually concentrating on the game. At this point , she is still beating me. She gets a call on her cell and starts talking on that about history notes. At one point, while still beating me, she reaches into her backpack, sets notes in front of her, and looks up stuff for the kid talking to her on the cell phone. While doing all this, I lose for like the 5th or 6th time. So, I’m done with THAT game.
Sean and Susan are in town. We had dinner at the Grit and then watched a little bit of Danger Mouse and then part of A Wrinkle In Time. If you are reading this Amy, I know you are terribly jealous.
I wish I was tired so I would go to bed.
I wish the servers all worked.
I wish I had a million dollars.
