You know, stuff.

I went to Madeline’s good-bye show at the 40 Watt last night. She is taking off for Indiana in just over a week. Hope for a Golden Summer (i don’t remember the proper inter-spacing of their name) opened and there was a dance party afterwards. We actually left before the dance party to look for Hannah and ended up at Boneshakers. Sat there for a while and then S. and I decided to go to the Waffle House so she could get her salt and grease fill for the evening.

I’m taking the day off from work to clean my house up from my packing frenzy last Wednesday and to build up energy for work. Now until Christmas is going to pretty much be non-stop work.

In other news, Shawn, AKA New Cash, will be starting work in a couple of weeks. Also, we got the word from the state that we are now incorporated as a nonprofit called the Athenstown Media Foundation, Inc. We will “establish an educational foundation open to the general public. The foundation will exist to foster an appreciation of media and its uses by conducting lectures, seminars, study groups, public and classroom performances, exhibits and any and all other appropriate means.” You know, like say, a radio station.

So, here are the two geeky things I got at Comic-Con. There are only two or three artists I like enough to want a sketch by them. I have almost bought some art by Todd Nauck from his website before so when I saw his table at the Con, I had to get a sketch of Wonder Girl from Young Justice/Teen Titans.

The other geeky thing was Erin Gray’s autoraph. Come on, what boy my age didn’t have a crush on her from back in the Buck Rogers days. Well, I guess that would be boys who had a crush on Buck, or more disturbingly, Twiki the Robot.
