Our stupidhead mail server is down. Unbeknownst to Shawn and me, the Exchange priv.edb got to big for its britches (well, the hard drive anyway) and when I rebooted this afternoon, it would not start back up the Message Transfer Agent. We discover that the database can’t go back down in size without running ESEUTIL which defrags the database. We don’t have enough drive space to run this util because it needs 110% of the size of the database. Grr Argh. We are trying something that MAY work but, then again, it certainly might not.
