Construction began last week on converting the former Pizza Hut store on South Lumpkin Street in Five Points to a Barberitos franchise restaurant, which serves Southwestern fare such as burritos, quesadillas, nachos and tacos. David Weeks, who owns the Epps Bridge Parkway Barberitos, has bought the Five Points franchise and is buying the downtown Barberitos as well, according to Downing Barber, founder and president of Barberitos Franchise.
