During my 30+ hour stay on the couch, I talked to my be-eff-eff Susan Fahey (also known as Susan Wallis, Self-Help Susan, and enigmatically as just “Woogie”) who was calling from the hospital.
I asked her if she was having a baby and her response was “Baby? Been there, done that”. Daddy Sean was asleep so I didn’t speak to him. Michael (Michael, right?) was born Friday night at 7:45. She told me he was 21 inches and I can’t remember if he was 7lbs 15 oz. or 8 lbs. 15 ox. but he definitely weighed something, unless the whole thing was a sofa delusion to me.
Susan says that he is very cute and blonde. She promises pictures soon.
