First off, in response to :stephanie:’s questions in my comments, Katie Holmes was around 4 when Risky Business came out and 7 when Top Gun came out. I hope when I am 42, I can date a former Dawson’s Creek cast member (How *you* doin’, Mary Beth Peil?).
So, I had a lot of fun this weekend. After hanging out at the bike race, I have added Jocelyn’s former student teacher Tera to the “Chip’s BFF List”.
Here is a weekend recap:
Friday: Big night. Big night. I came home from work and, are ya ready, watched TV and read comics! Don’t be jealous. It’s not easy being me. I was pretty wiped out and just did nothing. That’s OK because Saturday was enough for Friday also.
Saturday: Drank coffee for a while. I met Christine at the Student Learning Center at the mobile media thingie. We hung out there for a bit but then decided margaritas at Agua Linda seemed much more appealing. We hung out there for a while and then ended up going downtown.
We met up with Jocelyn, Tera, Hamil, Sharon, Zach, and Jason for a little while. After a series of what we shall just call “events”, it was down to me, Tera, and Jocelyn. We went to the 283 where they had it decked out in balloons for a going away party.
Through some friend of Tera, we ended up hanging out with some boys from Madison County on the street and at Allgood for quite a while. We were parked at Jocelyn’s and started walking back around 12:15 or so and stopped at Go. Saw Shawn, Jenny, Peter, and Laura. Jocelyn decided to stay and dance but Tera and I walked back to Milledge.
Sunday: Met Jocelyn and Tera at Zim’s for a debriefing from the night before. Apologetic phone calls were made and bagels were consumed. I picked up some Zaxby salads for the grandparents and went over there for a little while. I came back home and Jocelyn and Hamil came over.
Then I watched Doctor Who and I will probably go to bed soon.
I saw you at twilight….you probabaley don’t remember seeing me though
