Weekend

It is sad when your weekend peaks on Friday at around 8:30 but after RuSan’s it was all a little boring.

I spent Saturday with most of the current gals in my life. I had breakfast at Five Star Day, coffee at Walker’s and dinner at La Parilla all with Jocelyn and Tera. I also watched “Doctor Who” with Susan.

When alone, I spent the day fixing up a computer (named “Fiona” by Tera) to be a media server/player for the living room. I used an old 3dfx Voodoo 3 card that Sharon from GC gave me because it has s-video out. I’m not real happy with the display because it looks a lot crappier than the s-video out from the laptop. So, i’ll still be working on that this week.

For Father’s Day, I went to my grandparent’s house for lunch with Lori, Nick, Mom, Keith, Worth and Charlotte. As many of you know, Nick wants to “wrastle” me since I am now his brother-in-law and all brothers should “wrastle”. It’s a Cochran thing apparently. So, when Nick asked me to go and look at something in the car, I refused. I’m not falling for that trick.

After lunch, Nick, Lori, and I went to Dad and Kim’s in Winterville. My dad just bought a Hummer H3 and a condo in St. Simons. Nick and I were still discussing “wrastling” while we were over there and my Dad gave us both black t-shirts to wear when we finally have our battle. Nick’s has Goldberg and mine says “Whoop Ass Wrestling” so we will be the height of fashion whenever the titans clash. Apparently, we are all going to Disneyworld later this year and so perhaps we can wear them then. That should properly embarrass the little sister.
