Some Items

  • I got my replacement cell phone in the mail tonight and it is not even a comparable phone. Completely diff. No camera, not as much memory. Crappier, in general. So, I guess I will be back on the phone with the Cingular in the AM.
  • I bought M.I.A. tix today for me, Kate, :Hannah:, and Shawn. You should buy them to and come out with us. It’s over a month away, no excuses
  • Long time readers of the blog will remember me mentioning my mysterious best friend Tessa back in 2002 (but recently republished here ). Read that and then come back here. OK? Good.
    So, Tessa was googling her name and that blog entry came up and she answered the discussion question by assuring me that she wasn’t creeped out. Since then, we have been email buddies, so that is very exciting.

  • I’m step-sibling sitting in the Winterville this weekend if anyone wants to hit the Skate-A-Round or anything.
  • Courtney and I visited Austine today and she is doing well.
  • That’s all.

      Are you serious about the Skate-A-round? Because I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to do that. Maybe I can even break another tooth. Do you think they’ll play “Another One Bites the Dust” for us? Can we get cotton candy?!

      Count me in too! If you are serious – Friday? Jolly Ranchers and that lovely shag carpet – I’ve been trying to get folks to go for quite a while. Then maybe the Dukes of Hazzard to make the 80s night complete – but only one thing, can we convince them to play the old music there? I tried a couple of years ago and was shooed away…

      I am soooooo down for this. It’ll be last weekend as a full-time Athens resident, and there is no better place to wrap it all up for me. No better place in the County. See y’all on the Cherokee Road, with wheels on.
