I never finished writing about my weekend. The potluck at Dixie Chick Jenny’s was a lot of fun. Towards the end of the evening, everyone was a little tipsy and discussing what weird search results brought people to their blogs. Welcome to partying in 2005.
Sunday was a really good day. Self-Help Susan is in town staying with her mom for a few weeks. She came over and we walked around the Birchmore Trail and then chatted at my house for a while. Tessa called me as Susan was leaving so we chatted for a while. I actually got over my phobia of talking on a headset in public, so this was a major breakthrough day. My geekiness now actually has zero bounds.
Kate and I met Hannah and Angela at “40 Year Old Virgin”. Everything everyone says is true. This movie is very funny and you should probably all go see it.
Today, I went to work and did that whole thing. Susan and I were going to go walking but the Katrina-caused rain cancelled those plans. I went over to Lois’s house (Grandmother of Jack) and helped her with her computer. Then I did some “chores”, had a quick coffee and visit with Kent, and now I am probably going to go to bed pretty soon.
