I heard on the radio yesterday that the killer bees were about to get to Georgia. It’s about time. I remember the front page of the Banner Herald at some point in the late 70s or early 80s having a map showing the bees coming up from Mexico.
I have been waiting since then. A good chunk of my life waiting for the killer bees.

I had to call Susan on the phone as soon as I heard because she has also been waiting for the bees to get here.
Much like the above graphic shows, the guy on the radio so that if you encounter killer bees, you are supposed to run. Sounds like a firm plan to me. I like it.
Don’t get me wrong, I am firmly AGAINST killer bees. I got stung by a yellowjacket a few weeks ago and it hurt and I whined. But, it is kind of like knowing you are about to get a shot or squinting before someone flashes a camera in your eyes.
I’ll feel better when my fear is justified.
