An Actual Real Blog Post

Scrappy and I were scheduled to go to a seminar at the Blue Laser Group about lasik surgery last night. When we arrived, the doors were locked. So, those of us waiting just hung out for about 15 minutes. I called the answering service and they had no info (but were nice and tried three numbers). Thanks to the iPhone, I also tried to write back to the account the confirmation email came from but it was not a legit email address. Lame.

I called the office this morning and they said that the seminar people were out of town. I had a confirmation for last night which means they had my name and email and knew I was coming. If they can’t click on an email to say “don’t come tonight, we are on vacation”, it’s not like I am going to let them shoot frickin’ laser beams into my head.

I might call Emory HealthCare and see what their deal is. I wanted to get this done before I change jobs in June but time is running out.

Me, Scrappy, Veronica, Ron, Courtney, the Professor, and Brian tried Cheaters Trivia at Sons of Italy last night. We were disappointed to find that you were only allowed to cheat (use laptops, cell phones, etc) on certain questions which made it awkward to keep pulling the lappy in and out of my bag. I wish it had been all or nothing. But, it was fun and only 4 teams were there. A nice change of pace from the Loco’s.

I watched my first full episode of American Idol last night because I love me some Neil Diamond. So, I experienced the crazy that is Paula Abdul.

Wow.

In other news:

• Barnett’s is closing. Once Budwine went away, there was little reason for me to go there.
• Mrs. Bluth, Becky, and Darcy are going to be in the new 90210 pilot.
