Let’s just say that there are potentially 10,000 comics about 8 feet away from me. Let’s also do the math and figure that my house is (give-or-take) 874 square feet. Let’s cross-reference along the temporal axis and note that there are about 42 days until the wedding. So, let’s say I need to sort through 250 comics a day on average and decide what to keep and what to sell/donate/disown because that 874 square feet ain’t getting any bigger anytime soon.
Then add the fact that Scrappy and I also own enough books to start our own book-mobile.
Oh. That’s not a bad idea. Anybody have an old RV they want to donate to the cause? I could deck it out in comics and alternate history novels and sell my wares door to door.
Last night, the Spynotebook Book Club (me, Scrappy, Jocelyn, Tera) had a “progressive meeting” that spanned Your Pie, Buffalo’s, and then Border’s for the midnight release of Breaking Dawn.
It was fun to see MJ and Allison at Border’s. If you had told me back in the day that I would be 37 years old and still be having conversations about Watchmen, Doctor Who, and vampires, well, I probably totally would have believed you. Never mind.
(I might not have believed that it would have been with actual live women and not someone from a BBS or something.)
I have promised Allison that she and Yvonne can come over and play croquet in the backyard soon.
Today, we are meeting Sheni at the Grit and then who knows.
Off to sort into DC, Marvel, and other piles. If anyone needs any issues to fill out their “New Universe” collection, I just found that box.

I’ll buy any of your Buffy or Joss Whedon-related comics, if they are for sale.
Looks like fun times!
