You know, it is just a lot nice to sit at Border’s and surf than it is at home. I am looking at a display that says “Saw the Movie? Now Read the Book!” and it has all sorts of comics on there. It doesn’t have League of Extraordinary Gentleman. The comic is far better than the Hulk stuff they have up there. I am still just depressed that the movie was just so so bad.
Since I have been here, my mom called me from St. Simons and I have emailed with Sara and Bonnie and perused the web. I think I might look at some magazines before I leave.
Saw Susan Cooley for a few minutes today. I went to my grandfolk’s and they gave me some walking around money for San Diego.
We are meeting Bonnie here for lunch tomorrow in Marina Del Rey and then we are heading south for SD. My little sis has been there before and told us to go to Tiajuana but I don’t think I will go on this trip. What if we got detained by authorities and I missed Joss Whedon? Can’t chance it man. It’s all about the comics on this trip.
I particularly like that, on the Jerry’s Famous Deli webpage, when you click on souvenirs, you get their take out… including the $50 cheesecake and also matzoh ball soup by the quart. LOL
