If only we could reimagine our lives in pre-revolution Cuba as they did in Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights (which I happened to see this evening with Dawn and Jocelyn). I can say that I enjoyed it but I enjoyed it mostly because Jocelyn REALLY loves the original so her enthusiasm was projected onto Dawn and myself.
I’m just saying they could have put a baby in a corner or had some obvious wind through some trees. Would it have killed them? And the dancing could have been a tad dirtier. I’m still giving it a 3/5 for the entire experience of seeing it.
