These Kids Today!

Did you guys know that emo music promotes cutting? I thought it just made me feel that way! Michelle Malkin describes cutting as “the new youth craze” in this article. Can it really be a “new youth craze” when BH9 had an episode about it in 1998? Link to article from Gawker.

And speaking of the kids, they all talk funny too!

What is it with memes and the Right side of the blogosphere? Are they so focused on raping and pillaging our economy and rewriting history that they don’t pay attention to things right under their nose.

Then again, considering the parents I remember who were uber-Republican (and coming from East Cobb, that’s really saying something); it was their children who did all the drugs and the drinking and got the VD and killed each other.

Am I talking out my ass here or does anyone share my anecdotal observations?

Wow. I remember when cutting was the thing back in my HLL days. What was that–95? I don’t remember the 90210 ep. Who was the cutter?

Reading Michelle Malkin talk about “emo” music and how it’s an entire genre with the sloe purpose of being the voice of the “cutting culture” is like watching this video “gang signs” that I got at a Blockbuster sale where this dude tells the parents of 1991 that if their kids wear black clothers or jelly bracelets, the they’re already withou question a heroin mule for the Crips.

Ummm, that should read “sole” purpose…
But you knew that already, right?
