Chip writes something that only a few people care about.
Expresses tiredness/soreness/amusement.
Posts a picture of some girl he knows so when he looks back at this someday he can say, “Hey, I had cute friends.”

Says something he thinks is funny.
Writes he needs to stop blogging and get ready for work.
Posts a complete non-sequitor such as things overheard by him and/or friends such as:

Nick: I don’t want to drink sunshine. I want to drink the pretty colored chemicals.

or

Tins: Did you know I had to google the 80s to find out what to wear?

or

teacher: *holding stomach*
kid: what’s wrong?
teacher: my stomach is achey b/c I ate a huge apple too fast
kid: yeah- you get the same thing from chicken nuggets.

I’ll never find it again, but I remember once reading the “all-purpose blog post” that had a long, long chain of “all-purpose blog comments.” Something along the lines of “restatement of blogger’s point with inappropriate use of ‘lol'” and “off-topic personal attack here.”

This stuff is funny cuz it’s true. But everyone has their typical post. Mine is : I knitted! YAY! Then I drank too much! YAY! the end.

Generic reply in which I try to say something witty while relating what you’ve written about to my own personal experience.
