A Little Life Update
After work, I came home and gave up on my restoration of the deleted files. Taking too long and not really worth all the fuss.
Kate and I met Alex and Stephanie at 5 Star. Spied Shawn and :jenny:.
Went to Transmet and then met the Pretense Barbie Book Cult at the Globe for a few minutes.
Now, Kate is watching last week’s O.C. and I am seriously considering going to bed.

To my Knitters feeling "Lost" (or lack thereof)
Since :stephanie: and :jenny: both watch “Lost” and both are Transmet Knitters, there is a conflict of time Wednesdays at 9:00, so they came over to watch it on Thursday. :Jenny: has requested that I have a showing again this Thursday since the gals are knitting tonight.
So, if there are any other knitters (in practice or just in your heart) out there who want to come over Thursday for replayed TV, consider this a formal invitation. Just lemme me or :Jenny: know.

The house across the street is for rent. It’s a duplex, 2 bedroom, 1 bath, washer/dryer, AC, central heat. It’s probably even under the spynotebook wireless cloud. Hard wood floors. $600/month.

MLK Dinner
Well, we didn’t have Martin Luther King Cakes (cakes with a tiny civil rights leader baked into it, as suggested by :amym:) but we did have a nice dinner at :Jocelyn:’s last night. Big crowd but you can read all about that over on her blog.
During the day I read a lot of X-Men comics. I suppose you could claim that I was reading that because of Professor Xavier’s dream for mankind and mutantkind living together was somewhat based on Dr. King’s ideas but I think that would be a stretch even for me. They are what was next in my ever expanding “to read” box. Happy accidents.
I also saw “In Good Company” with Kate and :hannah: and then came home and watched “Lost In Translation” by myself to carry on my Scarlett high fever for two more hours. My thoughts on the flick over at :culture:.
I keep thinking today is Monday but that isn’t an awful thing.
I discovered there is a wireless network on my street called “crackhouse”. That made me laugh.
