Still at the beach…

We went to the new Harry Potter last night. I didn’t dislike it but I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would. But, it was fun and I am looking forward to the last two.

Today, we had lunch at Holden Beach at the Provision Company. We went with Jacob and Carrie last year and thought it was really good. Beth got the peel-and-eat shrimp and I got a shrimp burger. I was not sure what a shrimp burger was but it turned out to be a patty of grilled shrimp. I need to figure out how to make this at home. It was tasty.

Yesterday, we went to Aziomedia

I didn’t buy anything but it is a very fun place to poke around if you are ever in this area.

Beth and her dad are making dinner right now so I will go and join the fam now.

Google thinks the above message says “Mister Prince Mark”. Maybe that should be my new code name.

We needed to go into Wilmington yesterday to take Sarah Ann (click here to see her get punched by Tracy Morgan) to the airport. We decided to see the U.S.S. North Carolina (as seen on “Ghost Hunters”) while we were there.

As we pulled up into the parking lot, I saw a basketball court which I thought looked very familiar from a little show I like to call “One Tree Hill”. I thought it was the “river court” but I was not sure. Beth assured me that it was and after closer inspection, I was convinced. After the tour of the battleship, we walked over there and read the graffiti on the court. Good stuff.

Beth made a trio of foreign travelers very happy by taking their picture. The battleship was pretty cool too, I guess.

The weather was pretty bad driving back to Ocean Isle but we did manage to stop by Fanboy Comics on our way out. I bought the last issue of the Fable crossover and Scrappy bought “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies”.

I think it may be time to hit the beach.

So, here are some things that have happened since last time I blogged:

Michael Jackson died.
We got a puppy named Swiffer.
Scrappy is on skates a lot.

I am sure there are some other things of importance but I am going to have to go back through my twitter feed to make sure.

Right now we are at the beach in North Carolina. We got here last night and went to a local pizza joint that totally had a ventriloquist. So, vacation is off to an awesome start.
