Chip's Spynotebook

I took another one of the Cisco tests. I got a 92 on this one which I think is pretty good because, as we all know, I’m just faking it at all this computer stuff. I chatted online with Ellis for a bit and talked to Susan on the phone and that has been my only realtime contact all day.
Pamela Lee is in a tight pink shiny outfit trying to find a cell phone number before the Big Brother WORM is destroyed. I might have to start watching this show more often. Dare I create a VIP channel on the Replay? What if someone saw? Whatever would I do?

Earlier today (when I got back from feeding the cat, turtle and fish) i found another postcard from the road tripping lassies. It occurs to me that I should post the cards online. I got the first one a few days ago.

It kind of scares me to think what Wendy would be like if she did go dixie chick on me. It might make for an interesting household next month.
The next one came today.

Sunday has been non-eventful so far. Watched some TV. Ate some lunch. About to work on some CCNA stuff and watched Charmed. I called Susan today to tell her that they mentioned Passions on the West Wing but she wasn’t at home.

Ron and Maureen and I are watching 10 Things I Hate About You. Well, both Maureen and I are blogging. Amy, Alex, Stephanie, Andy, and their friend Chris came over and finished off the ice cream. Susan called from downtown to say that Sean was playing darts and it would be late before they got here if they even came at all. Oh well. They missed out. I think next time I will make a double batch of ice cream if this many people are going to show up.
We watched the Iron Chef. It was the Mishima Beef Battle.

The ice cream is hardening. Ron and Maureen are over. We watched a bit of Misfits of Science and now we are doing the M2 thing. Ron is downloading MP3s and Maureen is reading some of Kate’s crafty mags. No one who said they were coming over are here. Susan and Sfahey should be coming so I’ll save them some ‘scream if they get here in time. Almost time to eat!

I am back from feeding CLD’s cat and the grocery store. I solved my computer problem at work finally. It is not the way I wanted it to work but it is passing packets between @home and my AA network so I am happy for now. It still needs some MAJOR tweaking. I also have bought all the ingredients for Peanut Butter Banana Ice Cream and installed a message board on the Y2K journal site. It should be fun. I better go get stuff in the freezer. I’m not going to make it unless someone shows up and wants some.
I have caught up on a week of Eastenders and I am about the watch the last three eps of “The West Wing”. I love TV.

I hate computers. But I love them when they work. The proxy is not working all together well but it is a far sight better than it was an hour ago.
Getting there…

The days plans are only going so well. I did number 3 and I am working on 4 which is being a BUTT. I am beginning to think the problem is just on our network because even now the laptop only works when plugged directly into the cable modem itself. I have one more plan and then I do what…? Give up? I can’t do that because then the school would not have net access. That is why this job completely sucks. And there really isn’t a tech person to call because no one understands how all this is interconnected at this point except for me.
Can I buy rock salt this time of year?
Can I buy overripe bananas?
Grrr… Argh….

6. Green Room Project
7. Feed Courtney’s Cat
8. Try and make Ice Cream.

Who wants to come over for homemade icecream? Anyone?

I like my new laptop from work if only for the reason that I can listen to Duran Duran online and blog without having gotten out of bed yet.

Gonna sleep a little more now.

Susan and I had a lovely time at Manhattan. Then I got take out from Agua Linda and we came home to watch Passions. Dama and Ginger came over and hung out for a little while. I am going to try and make Banana Peanut Butter Ice Cream tomorrow night. Remind me to feed Courtney’s cat.
