Life Update:
I went to a seminar about scanning and printing for the morning. Then to work around noon where I saw my old co-worker Caro who might come back and teach again next year.
Afternoon of mild work since I was still in seminar mode.
Kate, :Hannah:, and I had dinner at Five & Ten. We got the prix fixe. Mine was:
– English Pea Soup with country ham and creme fraiche.
– Roasted bell and evans chicken breast with maitaki mostarda, squash casserole, braised leeks, taragon jus.
– Orange and Almond Scone with Cointreau and peppercorn marinated strawberries, vanilla bean whipped cream and strawberry coulis.
I have no idea what half of that means but it was good and (not terribly bad for) $20. Don’t think that I’m all fancy and drop $20 bucks on dinner all the time but every so often is OK.
For those who offered help on the wiki, I will be emailing you this weekend. You can actually create accounts on there now and start adding stuff if you want.
Friday night is the meetup, so you guys be sure to come to Room 13 tonight to hang with the bloggin’ crowd.

You and your Frente! Damn, man.
Uh, hey… could I get a copy of that CD? It looks really good, Frente! notwithstanding. 😀
At least Shawn shares my love for poppy Australian women. Email me your address and I will make one for you this weekend also.
Damn. How come people be hating on the Frente!? I hear this over and over again and I just don’t understand. OK. You don’t like their version of Bizarre Love Triangle. I understand. But listen to the rest of it. It’s awesome. Ultimately, I think I’ve come to believe that people who say they don’t like Frente! really just don’t like the idea of Frente! There’s no way they don’t like the music. And, come on, they’ve got an exclamation point in their name. Sure sign of excellence.
Hey Chip- Is Rendevous the new Luna CD? Is it a good? I think that is the one I have on my wishlist at Amazon. My birthday was last week and no one bought it, so I guess I gotta get it myself;)
LOL
Actually, my Frente! feelings come NOT from the “Bizarre Love Triangle” cover but from “Ordinary Angels” on the Melrose Place soundtrack. And the exclamation point. 😉
By your theory, Emeril! was a great show, eh? 😉
