Weekend Update
Kate and I went to an auction at the Alps Road School yesterday. They were selling all the old stuff since they were moving into a new building. I didn’t buy anything but I took some pictures with my phone. My mom bought the letters from the front of the school.
:Sam: came over for the afternoon and evening. We watched TV, burned some DVDs, went to Best Buy, ordered chinese food and watched some more TV. I went to my barn and was very impressed with myself that I found all 30 issues of “Y: The Last Man” for Sam to read. She wanted to read the comic where all the men died, she said. They were spread out among 8 or 10 different boxes so it took a while. It made me realize that I am VERY far behind in my comic book database. I think I am ready to start selling some comics when I can get them organized.
I am finally caught up on my Eastenders so I can start reading the website and message boards again. I know y’all have been worried about me.
No real plans for the rest of the weekend. Sam and I are meeting :Hannah: for brunch at Mia Madonna and then I assume my afternoon will be filled with reading of some sort. I am either going to start reading Love Monkey or Alternative Atlanta or something else completely.
Enough with the blogging already.

I just saw the Room Raiders with Sara Jane, Bunny, and Marla from Athens. Why would any of those girls want to date Brad? And for their big date, he suggests going downtown to Bourbon Street? I’m sure that was the winner’s dream come true.

Asbestos McVioxx
Not that I have any plans for the weekend, but I am very glad that it is Friday. I attempted to run errands last night a successfully fulfilled the grocery-buying portion but failed in the buying comics portion. I will attempt again after work today. Spied my mom and keith at the Krogers.
Came home. Fell asleep around 8:00. Woke up at Midnight. Watched my Thursday night initials shows (O.C. and ER, I should totally start watching C.S.I. again because I love a theme night) and now it is 2:00 AM and I have to decide what time to force myself to go back to sleep to get back up at 6 or 6:30.
Oh yeah, I don’t know what made the difference but I made $11.56 on the Google Ads the day I posted about ASBESTOS LAW SUITS and mentioned the words CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT. It didn’t change on my main page but the individual entry had ASBESTOS LAWYER links. And yes, I think Google can HEAR ME BETTER IF I BOLD EVERYTHING.
Think I’ll go put dishes in the dishwasher while I have energy (because I just almost picked up the coffee from 20 hours ago that is still sitting next to my computer).

Things I Have Heard Today
I was walking in front of two high schoolers today who were in a conversation which involved the line:
“Why in the world would a 35-year old have a LiveJournal?”
I also had someone say to me:
“Is that your pig?”
The second phrase has already been added to our daily help desk sayings although we are still working on the usage.
LifeUpdate: I had dinner with :stephanie: last night at Agua Linda and then we watched “Veronica Mars” and “Lost”.
