And so it has come to this.

Could this be the show that makes me WANT to go to the GA Theatre?

Flagpole Magazine

COOLIO (Georgia Theatre) L.A. rapper Coolio spent time in the West Coast underground before making a splash with “Fantastic Voyage,” the Lakeside remake that pushed his debut album It Takes a Thief up the charts. His sense of humor softened the hard-edged G-funk he presented, and found a huge audience with “Gangsta’s Paradise.” 2003’s Cool Magnifico maintained the balance between harsh lyricism and party anthems.

Probably not.

Lent

OK. I’m not Catholic but I kind of want to do the whole Lent thing. I mean, I’m not a paganistic satanist but I love Harry Potter just as much as the next guy. *

So, :shawn: and :jenny: and I came up with this list during lunch today. I will be giving up:

Everything generally unhealthy which may include me giving up:
– anything fried
– sweets
– unhealthy fast food (i may have to have the occasional baja burritto)
– bad thoughts (jenny’s suggestion)
– bitterness (again jenny)
– grumpy chip (damn, girl)
– not getting married (oh shawn you clever devil)

Obviously, I am setting myself up for failure.

* Total lie. Never read the Harry Potter even though :amym: insisted I borrow a copy.

Sara's Paper on My Blog.

:sara: will want me to point out that this is not a true representation of her work but that’s cool. I’ll also say that I have NO IDEA AT ALL what any of the stuff she wrote is about. Also, none of the charts are in there which I think would be cool to see so maybe she can find those at some point.

Summer Reading Choices

If you were going to suggest some summer reading books to high school kids, what would you suggest?

tired.

sam and I went over to jocelyn’s to eat some pasta and leftover desserts from hamil’s. Sharon, Brad, and Hamil were there. I need to write soon about all the technology that goes into my entertainment setup these days. I finally have it automated where my computer knows that I watch Eastenders so within an hour of a new episode being uploaded to my british TV download site of choice, my computer starts to download it for me so it is waiting for me. Isn’t that nice of Avril (my XP machine)?

I am very tired. Going to fall asleep on the couch I hate now.
