Went to Hamil’s for a Super Bowl party. Didn’t care so much for the football but the HDTV and food was very good.

The weblogger meetup was last night and we had a fairly good turnout. Forgot to take pictures but I think that is probably for the best. Nobody got crazy and embarassing which is really unfortunte. I blame that on a lack of knogglers. See y’all in March!

The funniest thing I have read in days is this article from the Scotsman:
Managers at a new B&Q warehouse due to open told the bemused staff that morale at the DIY store in East Kilbride would improve if they greeted each other in the morning with lines from the whimsical Mahna Mahna song.
On hearing the first line, the staff would be encouraged to continue with the baffling, if catchy, chorus, which continues: “Do doo be-do-do”.
However, the motivational stunt, dreamed up at a management brain-storming session, has backfired, with some staff now threatening to quit work.
One member of staff, who did not want to be named, said: “East Kilbride managers were at a training day when it was announced they would replace good morning with Mahna Mahna.
“The staff had just returned from lunch and all the managers were in a training room, sitting in a semi-circle and looking really pleased with themselves. Then one of them blurted out ‘Mahna Mahna’ at us without warning. We just stared blankly back at them.
“Then another manager repeated the phrase, and asked what our first reaction was when we heard it. When someone mumbled back ‘do doo be-do-do’, they all burst out laughing and were nodding at each other, saying, ‘Told you so’.”

Well, not rollin’ so much as sitting at Transmet with some knogglers (:jenny: and :stephanie:) and Blogless Kate. We had dinner at the Globe and came here for wine. Apparently :shawn: is on his way which is seriously going to screw with my 3:1 Girl:Guy ratio.
Stephanie had the fabulous idea for me to add a comment count on the main spynotebook page which I thought was brilliant and I had never thought of it. Made a little tweak while eating globe chips and there ya go. Her momma told us she was smart but I had no idea!
We have Mahna-Mahna playing from five different sources at five different times in our office right now. It is wonderful and somewhat soothing but completely insane to listen to.
